Many people helped me get this blog moving, but some contributed greatly for inspiration, support, and direction. Any quality found is partially due to the following people and organizations listed below.

This blog is part of an ongoing project that I've been committed to most of my life. There are many people I would like to thank. While I can't list everyone, I want to at least mention the following people:

* Kimberly R. Tetter, my ex-wife and best friend for many years, and the Tetter family. She was a proofreader and editor of some writings that have not yet been included, and for the article "The Burden of Having Too Many Ideas." I almost always agreed with any defects she would easily find, and changes nearly always improved readability.
* Jacob Lee, and the Lee Family.
* Chris Soulé, and the Soulé Family.
* Adam Abouraya, and the Abouraya Family.
* My parents and family for love and support over the years, and for creating a safe and happy environment for me to grow up. I had a lot of freedom to play and think on my own, and this was conducive to the philosophical attitude I now possess. Many of the ideas I'm including here were thought while I was still a kid.
* Special thanks to the Shure family. Richard and Lisa Shure, Jillian, Brandon, Matthew, Grandparents and extended family. I'm very thankful for your support of both ex-wife and myself. I have very fond memories being together and being included in family happenings and events. The relationship I've had with your family brings fond memories and still provides some encouragement of my work, because the positivity is still easily recalled, and not all of course is positively encouraging. Your positive encouragement remains and provides enduring support even though you're not around.
* The many colleagues I've had over the years.

When I first started my blog, I was in need of more motivation and support than after I was able to add a large amount of content. The folks below provided support and inspiration that helped me stay motivated, to get it where it is today, and where I hope it will go in the future.

* [Elysian Trust](http://www.elysiantrust.org/), for a valuable social network of supportive people I can relate to.
* Michael Clavenna, for much needed direction about the craft of blogging in general, and for proofreading and other improvements. I am very fortunate for his help.
* Ashley Steineger, for proofreading, direction, and validation. She is an experienced writer who provided confirmation and encouragement when I was feeling low.
* Nth Bar-Fields, for very frequent inspiration and positivity. Recently he has stimulated interest in writing again on harmful groups, in my article [Cults](cults.html).
* [John Kowalik](https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-kowalik), for friendship and quick support on the very first release of the site.
* [John Drake](https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnandersondrake), for uplifting support, friendship, and many useful suggestions.

There are many others I intend to add (thank you for any encouragement you provided!), and this page will be updated in the future. There are some I asked who did not wish to be included here. I thank you as well.

Some mentioned here might disagree with what I've written, and will write, but nevertheless, I am thankful for what they've done for me.

Of course, this list does not imply anyone's personal endorsement of the material or responsibility for blemishes. All opinions on this site are my own, but they would be poorly communicated if not for the people above. Thank you!
