## Backlog

Objective: find a way to use USB 2.0 standard only, using your own cable and standard adaptors.

Your computer only utilizes USB. USB 2.0 can be used for data transfer and power connections. You would like to use a single male usb 2.0 plug, your own cable, and various adaptors required to connect to 1) MicroSD card.

Core objective. Use your own cable to write to and from a MicroSD card over its standard MicroUSB adaptor.
USB 2.0 utilizes just two wires. Hypothesis: It is possible to easily wire from a USB 2.0 to a MiroUSB female plug, using two wires, knowing where to connect those wires?

- Research fully: USB 2.0/1.1 specification. Objective, be able to use only wires in place of USB.
  - First: for powering/charging a device.
  - Second: for transfering and receiving data.
  - Test plan for confirming its operation.
- How the various USB adaptors are joined with the wires.

- Clean the room and feel a readiness to leave.
- *Backups*
  - Discard.
  - Make sure your one obvious backup is easy at hand.
  - Backup hard drive on one MiroSD, then copy that.
  - Know the location of all usable MicroSDs that are extra.
    - This enables planning of other backups you need to do.
- BAG (complete: food, water, clothing):
  - Fill your water bag, and do a bag transfer.
  - Make a repeatable process for your bag transfer.
  - It needs to include spoon and can opener. (You need a second can opener).
  - Can opener and spoon in each of the two bags.
  - Put a small amount of food in the bag.
  - Eat the can, and put the can in the bag.
  - Prep your bag, putting in all you need.
  - As of Friday, you'll begin carrying the new bag around actively.
- *Stash/stow*. your second bag as you planned.
  - You should feel as though you can leave with your bag quickly, and that the bag you have is complete.
- *Transformer*. Resume looking at the transformer and how it was made.
-Remove all plastic from charger cable.
- *Research*.
  - How to make a step down transformer.
  - How wires are joined to the USB plug, USB-C, MicroUSB.
  - Saudering your own computer circuits.
- *Battery backup*.
  - Fully charge it, then do a test charge on the phone to see what you really get out of it.
  - If the battery backup doesn't charge more than 50% of your phone, you'll dissect it and use it for charging other batteries.
- *New Purchases*.
  - Thermopiles, pick them up.
    - Use them to charge the battery in the battery backup.
    - OR- use to charge the battery in the head lamp.
  - Book, pick it up.
- *White sheets*.
  - Make some clothing you can wear out.
